Fallen
Site responsive installation at the Miles Meehan Gallery in Darlington. Fallen was a durational
performance where an installation of giant balloons was added to over a period of
3 weeks; during this time some exploded and others deflated.
The balloons contained shards of life collected from around Darlington and were filled with while emulsion (as the walls of the gallery); over the residency each piece finally fell to the floor and revealed its true form. The exhibition aimed to balance delicacy and fragility with form along with reveal impermanence of our surroundings.
